M is for Misfit

Today's topic is: "Something nobody knows about me is..."

Oh dear. Hmm. This one is kinda hard actually. I'm a pretty open person (you kinda havta be to have a blog sometimes lol) and I guess I do have some "deep dark secrets" but not really, it's just personal private things that I prefer not to devulge to the wide web.

Well let's see...ok here's something though it may not be big a secret. So I actually like the color pink, especially when paired with black. I don't really care for pink clothing, but I like it in shoes, bags, accessories, and even hair. That's right. Hair. Now I'm not saying that I want to run out and somehow make my hair go from dark brown/black to hot pink (good lord I'd look like a hooker! o_O) but I've seen women with one or two pink stripes in their hair. I see that and I think, "Ooo! That's fun!" Honestly I think I might be more of a violet or red stripe girl myself. Or go with the Rogue look and have a single platinum white stripe. That would rock!

Anyhoo, so yeah I don't like pink pants, shirts, hoodies, jackets, etc. Actually now that I think about it, I might do a pink zip up hoodie...depends on the hoodie. I think I'd be ok with wearing pink shoes, earrings, socks, rings, bracelets, or having a bag with pink in it. And that's another thing, I'm picky about my pinks. I don't like bright Barbie pink or highlighter neon pink. I like light baby pinks and dark rose pinks. Also I like pink better when paired with another color.

Pink and brown is ok, I'm not too crazy about browns. It's another color that I'm very picky about. If it's a nice chocolate brown or darker chocolate brown I think it'd look good.

Pink and green....eh, makes me think of watermelon. I don't know about you but I personally don't want to look like a fruit.

Pink and red....oh Valentine's Day, that's the only problem I have with you: your color coordination is disgusting. Red and white, fine. Pink and white, even better. Red and pink is a bit too much for me.

Pink and Orange or Yellow = Holy Fruit Punch Tropicana, Batman!! O_O

Pink and Blue, eh it depends on the shades I think. I have no strong feelings about this combination honestly. However, it makes me think of baby showers, bubblegum, or lollipops though...

Pink and Purple, this one doesn't scare me as much as pink with orange or yellow but it's still not that great. One of my absolutely favorite cartoon characters is the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland but alas....pink and purple. Disney what were you thinking?! >_< It's ok though. They've done worse. Like putting Ariel with her bright red hair in that horrid pink dress. Poor girl.

And just once more for emphasis: Pink with Black or White = I approve :3

So yes....there you have it....in type for whole world to see. I, (insert actual name here), like the color pink. And no, I did not lose a bet nor was I paid to do this...though that would be awesome lol. There you have it, another successful day of random blogging :3
